BORICA helped the development of donation platform raising funds for the preterm babies
For yet another year, BORICA AD supported the foundation "Our Premature Children". With the funds donated by the company was developed a special online platform www.donate.premature-bg.com, where anyone willing to help the Foundation can get acquainted with the problems of premature babies and their families, choose a cause, and donate funds to it.
The development of the platform is part of this year's campaign of the Foundation, which will be titled "Big wonders for the little heroes". The organizers have focused on three main projects: raising funds for the purchase of life-saving equipment in the neonatal units in the country, building family rooms in them letting parents to be with their children during the long-term hospital stays and supporting the work of a family center for premature babies "Little wonders”.
"Our partnership with the Foundation "Our Premature Children" started some years ago, during which we had the chance to be part of a number of significant campaigns that changed fates in front of our eyes”. We will continue to support them because we believe that together, step by step, we are doing big miracles for the little heroes”, commented Miroslav Vichev, Chief Executive Officer of BORICA AD.
This year the campaign is supported by popular figures such as Niki Kanchev, Mihaela Filleva, Rumyana Neikova, Dilyana Popova, as well as leading neonatologists: Assoc. Prof. Ralitsa Georgieva, Head of the Neonatology Department of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Children's Diseases - Sofia, Dr. Donka Uzunova, Chief of Department of Neonatology at II SOGHAT "Sheinovo", etc.
Essential part of the "Big wonders for the little heroes" campaign is the special event, which will take place on 14 November under the title "Wonder night". The event, supported by BORICA, is organized on the occasion of the World Prematurity Day. The charity evening includes a special program, in which will take part famous Bulgarian artists, showbiz representatives, journalists, as well as representatives of the state authorities, the socially responsible business and the non-governmental sector that have proved to be seriously committed to the cause of the foundation "Our Premature Children”. Milena Zlatkova, journalist and radio Vitosha’s host in the show “Threesome at the Break of Dawn (Troika na Razsamvane)”, will be a presenter and participants in the event will be famous Bulgarian performers such as Michaela Fileva, Magi Dzanavarova and Slavin Slavchev. The funds raised during the charity evening will be used for the three main and most important projects of the foundation in this year's campaign.
A Christmas market will be also organized within the campaign, where people will be able to express their support for the little heroes. Additionally, anyone willing to donate for the cause of premature babies in Bulgaria can send SMS with text DMS BEBE to number 17 777 for Telenor, Vivacom and A1 subscribers.
We remind that in 2017 BORICA AD supported the cause of the foundation "Our Premature Children" by carrying out a charity initiative under the motto "Sign electronically for a happier childhood". Between November and December, for every new or renewed B-Trust electronic signature, the company donated 1 BGN to the Foundation. The money raised was invested in the purchase of specialized equipment for the first center in Bulgaria "Little wonders" - dedicated to the needs of the premature children and their families.
