B-Trust® Electronic signature without installation in the Windows environment
B-Trust®, in partnership with the international leader in the sphere of digital security - Gemalto, presents its new product: B-Trust® Qualified Electronic Signature, which needs no additional installation of drivers for the smart card and the card reader when used with Windows 7+.
The “Gemalto IDPrime MD 840” smart card uses a mini-driver that is automatically integrated in Windows, which means that no additional installation of drivers is required (i.e. middleware). The card has been certified according to the latest standards for smart cards and security – CC EAL5+ / PP SSCD, ANSSI.
The “Gemalto IDBridge K30” card reader also does not need installation of additional drivers in the Windows environments and provides the convenience of plug-and-play operation. The card reader is extremely compact, with attractive design that makes it pleasant for everyday use.
The Gemalto products provide perfect integration with the Windows environment owing to the mini driver certification integrated in the products of Microsoft. The Gemalto products also integrate in MAC OS X / Linux environment where the drivers for the card reader are also integrated and installation of drivers (middleware) is necessary only for the smart card.
