BORICA – BANKSERVICE received a lifetime achievement award in the financial IT sector
8 awards for implemented IT projects and 10 plaques of remarkable individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of the ICT sector in Bulgaria were bestowed at a ceremony that took place on February 25th at the Sofia Hotel Balkan when ICT Media and the Computerworld newspaper celebrated their 25-year anniversary.
BORICA – BANKSERVICE was honored with a plaque for outstanding contribution to the development of the IT in the financial sector. The award was bestowed to Mr. Lubomir Tzekov, CEO.
Among the other awarded institutions were the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works - Directorate General “Civil Registration and Administrative Services”, the Electricity System Operator and the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, BAS.
The big winner in the “Corporate sector” category awards for executed IT projects, bestowed by the ICT Media – UniCredit Bulbank, received the award for the executed together with BORICA – BANKSERVICE project: “Platform for Services – Unipay”. Through the platform, the bank provides an opportunity to repay obligations from every channel - including ATM, mobile device, mobile application and through the Bank's website.
