The BNB issued a license to BORICA AD for conducting operations as a payment institution
Today, the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank issued a license for conducting operations as a payment institution to BORICA AD on the grounds of Art. 12, para. 1 of the Law on Payment Services and Payment Systems (LPSPS), after having established that the applicant has provided all the required information and documents and that the conditions have been fulfilled for issuing a license under Art. 10, para. 4 and 5 of the LPSPS and the relevant requirements of BNB Ordinance No 16 on Payment Institutions, Electronic Money Institutions and Payment System Operators Licensing.
Based on the issued license, BORICA AD will be able to perform payment services under Art. 4, item 5, proposal 2 of the LPSPS – acceptance of payments with payment instruments.
