All toll taxes and electronic vignettes payments will be made through BORICA
The Road Infrastructure Agency started a public procurement for card payments servicing of fees for using the republican road network, ordered via virtual POS terminal or POS terminals and establishment of interface connection (host-to-host). In this way is ensured connection of the computing system (host-system), servicing the RIA’s POS devices and BORICA’s computing system for servicing payments made by payment cards on the territory of Bulgaria. The procedure is negotiable without a prior announcement under the Public Procurement Act - Art. 18, para 1, p. 8, as the order can be executed only by BORICA AD, based on the exclusive rights of the company, according to a license issued by the BNB. The indicative value of the order is 7.2 million BGN, VAT excluded and is for a period of 3 years.
